PAINTING INTERIOR
Interior preparation is the key to a successful project. All carpet, furniture and fixtures are covered for protection. Furniture are moved in most cases and put back when room is completed. Caulking, repairing drywall damage, filling in all nail holes will be done before any paint is applied.
Primer is applied where needed. Sanding is done when needed to give a smooth finish on trim.
Tape and paper are used around all baseboards meeting the carpet area. Plastic and drop cloth are used for furniture and carpet areas. For all flouring and fixtures they are masked off using top quality materials
After your interior project is completed we vacuum all carpet and haul away all materials used to complete the job. Your home is completely cleaned of any dust or material that is normal when interior projects are completed.
PAINTING EXTERIOR NEW AND REPAINT
Exterior preparation is important. High pressure water is used in many cases to remove grime, mildew, loose peeling paint and dirt. This is an excellent time to have your concrete walk and driveways cleaned thoroughly. We recommend that you have us clean these areas at least every 2 years for appearance and safety (slipping)
Any loose paint must be scraped away first before sanding, cleaning and caulking. We use sharp metal scrapers to remove any loose, peeling paint left after pressure washing. These surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dusted off. Cracks are caulk ad with latex caulking. Holes are filled with exterior spackle or caulking depending on finish coat used.
We use drop cloths to project your concrete and asphalt. We mask of windows and doors to keep overspray and splatters of the surface. It is much easier and wiser to keep paint off unwanted surfaces than to clean it off after the fact. We use clear plastics to cover must of your windows. We cover and protect your plants with reasonable care.
